Nordic film of the month: Spring 2025

Bringing films from all over the Nordics to all of Finland! The Nordic Film of the Month is once again set to delight audiences this spring. The films will be shown from January to May in ten different locations with the aim of putting Nordic film production in the spotlight. The selection is also tailored to local preferences.

Nordic Film of the Month is a collaboration between Walhalla rf, Svenska nu, Pohjola-Norden, and Nordic Culture Point.

This season’s lineup includes the powerful Greenlandic/Danish production Twice Colonized, the Swedish coming-of-age story Düsseldorf, Skåne, an intimate documentary in the form of Kungen (The King), a Norwegian comedy drama set in a refugee facility, A Happy Day, and much, much more!

Pre-registered school groups enjoy free admission to the screenings.

The films are shown once a month in various locations, with detailed dates available at Events – Walhalla.
