Drifts is a nomadic art platform that organises transcultural festivals annually in different regions of Helsinki. The festival will collaborate with Nordic Culture Point for a discourse series and film screenings with local and international practitioners in Suomenlinna B28 on 7-8 September 2024.
Drifts seeks to engage with critical dialogues and address urgent societal issues through audiovisual, performative, and discursive practices. It fosters a space beyond cultural, geographical, and disciplinary boundaries and contributes to cultural plurality by engaging with diverse neighbourhoods and communities in the city.
