Welcome to the Nordic Literature Circle! We read new Nordic fiction and discuss the works together at the Nordic Culture Point library.
The only thing you need to do in order to take part in the literature circle is read the novel in question. No prior registration required. We speak Swedish/Scandinavian. The circle is led by our specialist librarian Kira Nalin.
The book
Stine Pilgaard’s novel The Land of Short Sentences (Meter i sekundet) The book was published in the spring of 2020 in Denmark, was awarded the Weekendavisen Book Award, and has received glowing reviews in its home country. Meter i sekundet has been translated into Swedish and published with the title Meter i sekunden. The Finnish translation will be published in the spring of 2022.
