Webinar: Nordic picture books – wild and wonderful

In conjunction with the Finnish presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2021, Nordic Culture Point is hosting a webinar on Nordic picture books in collaboration with the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Nordic Region has a diverse, strong, and ever-growing field when it comes to children’s literature. To raise awareness of this, we’re bringing together researchers, authors, and illustrators to engage in discussions and give lectures. We’ll also hear the thoughts of Nordic children about picture books and reading. So come and join us, and be inspired by Nordic picture books!

Madeleine Dunderlin will be hosting the webinar, which will be held in Swedish and Norwegian. You don’t need to register in advance, and the webinar will be streamed live on the Nordic Culture Point website and Facebook page. It will be available to watch until 9 June 2021.
