Seminar: Lohkat! Sámi children’s and youth literature

Welcome to IBBY Finland’s annual seminar. The theme this year is Sámi children’s and youth literature.

This seminar will highlight Sámi children’s and youth literature, providing a platform for experts and practitioners in the field to share their insights. The seminar is intended for all professionals in children’s and youth literature and education, enthusiasts of children’s and youth literature, as well as parents. The Anni Swan medal will also be awarded during the event.

The seminar will be held mainly in Finnish, with parts in Swedish and Sámi.

The seminar will be streamed on Kirjastokaista and recorded for later viewing.

The event is organised by IBBY Finland in cooperation with Nordic Culture Point, the Association of Finnish Nonfiction Writers, the Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike), and Kirjastokaista.
