"Changing Reflections" by Camilla Stage

At Residency B28: 7 – 27 April 2025

Artist Camilla Stage’s residency was dedicated to the exploration of the body’s movements and the questions around the aging body – the body as the embodiment of our integrity and autonomy, as our physical presence in the world, as well as the stigmatisation of the aging body and the avoidance of it in our society.

How are the physical, psychological, energetic, and spiritual restructuring that accompany the aging of the body visualised? If preconceived expectations of aesthetics and restrictive body idealism are put aside, which expressions are made possible through dance and choreography?

Camilla Stage’s activities span many countries and include 30 staged/produced works, of which 13 have been full-evening performances. In her many professional roles, Camilla has collaborated with artists from a variety of fields and developed a wide network of contacts, using dance as a tool and poetry in social debate.
