In March, we will be celebrating the Nordic Week! On Friday the 21st of March, Nordic Culture Point, in collaboration with the Government of Åland and the Nordic Council of Ministers, welcomes ninth graders to the Nordic Library in Kaisaniemi for a discussion with Finland’s Minister of Education, Anders Adlercreutz, and Åland’s Lantråd, Katrin Sjögren. Åland Day in schools will also be celebrated on the same day.

Emma Isoherranen, a Nordic expert and master’s student in political science at the University of Helsinki, will moderate the discussion, focusing on current political and societal issues relevant to young people in Finland, Åland, and – of course! – the whole Nordic region.

Register for the event via Kultus.

The event is part of Nordic Week and Åland Day in schools (Ålandsdagen i skolan). Nordic Culture Point is part of the Nordic Week programme.
