Nordic Day 2026: Virtual Language Cafés

""

Hei / Hej / Hæ / Hey / Aluu / Bures!

Join us in bringing the Nordics together in honour of Nordic Day 2026! This year, we are celebrating again with virtual language cafés, where you can practice languages from across the Nordics online with other fellow Nordics. There are 8 languages to choose from: Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, Faroese, Greenlandic, and Northern Sámi.

At the language café, you are placed in a small group along with a host who speaks the target language and keeps the conversation flowing. No fluent skills needed, just come as you are! Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, this is your chance to speak, learn more about another culture, and meet interesting people from around the Nordics. You may for example talk about something that you’d still like to experience in another Nordic country!

The language cafés are free of charge. We are hosting two sessions:

  • First language café: on Sunday 22.3. at 15:00–16:00 (EET)
  • Second language café: on Monday 23.3. at 19:00–20:00 (EET)

After signing up at www.articulatte.live, you will receive an email with a Zoom link to the virtual language café.
