The event is free of charge and open to everyone. Welcome to enjoy the diversity of European languages and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the European Day of Languages!

Le Petit Prince is a 1943 French novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The beloved classic tells the story of a young prince who travels through space. The work deals with the great issues of life, such as love, friendship and loneliness. The in-depth message of the story, dressed in the form of a fairy tale, speaks to both children and adults. The Little Prince is one of the most translated literary works in the world, with 622 official translations. Millions of copies are still sold each year.

A chapter of the Little Prince will be displayed in several EU languages and sign languages on the 3rd floor of the Helsinki Central Library Oodi on the Saarikoski carpet on the European Day of Languages on 26 September from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
