Estrid’s Book Club Presents: Martin Widmark, Stina Wirsén, and Karin Erlandsson

""

Welcome to Estrid’s Book Club’s Children’s Book Seminars! During four sessions, some of the most renowned Nordic children’s book creators of our time are interviewed by children themselves, with an audience also made up of children.

On Tuesday, 6 May, from 9:30–10:30, Martin Widmark, Stina Wirsén, and Karin Erlandsson discuss children’s literature and reading with 6–8-year-old children.
What do children want to ask these well-known creators? What do they want to talk about with them?

The sessions are streamed by Kirjastokaista and can be watched live across the Nordic region. Recordings are also available on Estrid’s Book Club’s YouTube channel.

Since its launch in 2016, Estrid’s Book Club’s online content has been widely used in classrooms in both Finland and Sweden. This is Estrid’s first seminar series specifically designed for young audiences.

The seminar is organized in collaboration with Estrid’s Book Club, Nordic Culture Point, Kirjastokaista, and Sydkustens Ordkonstskola – a creative writing school – with support from Tre Smeder, Gesellius, and Thuring.

If you wish to attend the live event with your group, please register your preschool group or school class via Kultus. If you do not use Kultus, you can inquire about available spots by contacting amanda.mannstrom@nkk.org
