The artists will present their residency project ICONS– a genuine performance piece, that explores the contemporary Nordic woman and the picnic as a performative format. Lewis and Naidu examine the celebration of idols, both living and deceased. What defines female icons from a Nordic perspective? Does it differ from the rest of the world? The artists will discuss these questions, as well as the processes and methods behind the performance work.
