The exhibition in Kaisaniemi features creations by 18 Finnish fashion designers along with two Nordic guest designers: Stina Randestad from Sweden and Tilde Herold Winther from Denmark. The theme of Helsinki Design Week’s 20th anniversary year is celebration, and a20 interprets this by showcasing clothing as a symbol of life’s highlights.
Welcome to take a closer look at details and materials, and to marvel at the diversity of ideas! Free admission. The exhibition is open from 12:00 to 19:00 on both days.
The showroom continues the theme of the intimate a20 salonkinäytös, which will take place on 10 September at Helsinki Design Weeks main venue, Suomitalo.
The project is initiated and produced by Fashion Community Helsinki (Ellen Rajala, Sini Saavala and Sofia Stenfors) together with designer Alex Luonto.
