Network for knowledge & experience exchange with trans-disciplinary focus on solar-human relations. Science, heritage & speculative fiction all combine to offer perspective on our most endearing, consistent planetary influence: The sun & it's role in our sustainable futures. The network in 2026-2027 gathers in Liepāja & Oulu, connecting European Capitals of Culture in the Nordic region, online & in presence, to offer guidance in future-orientations for Liepāja & South Kurzeme in 2027 & beyond.

The purpose of my travel to Iceland is to collaborate with choreographer and video artist Klāvs Liepiņš on the development of a new interdisciplinary performance. Together, we will explore themes of urban loneliness and marginalisation through movement and visual art.

Verba Corporis is a festival exploring how performance artists use text as material - spoken word, autobiographical story, recorded voice, or textual appropriation. Through 10 live performances, 2 workshops, and a public discussion, it examines how language inhabits performance.

The 25th Panevėžys International Ceramic Symposium will take place from July 16 to August 9, 2025. This is a continuous, long-standing professional ceramic Art event that has been organized in Panevėžys since 1989. I am one of 9 artists who is invited to this year symposium.

I am traveling to attend the 30th anniversary celebration of Digital Weaving Norway, August 12–15, 2025, in Hønefoss, Norway. My plans include showcasing my work in the textile exhibition, attending a 2-day conference on digital weaving, and joining an excursion day for networking and exploration.

The purpose of the trip is to meet the organizers of the Louisiana Literature festival and explore the festival's program, formats, and latest trends in Danish literature. This will help enhance the literary events organized by Satori, inspire new translations and interviews.

My purpose of the travel is - participation in the Forssa Textile Week with a presentation at the conference and participation in the exhibition. The presentation is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Latvian textile artist and educator Rudolf Heimrats.

The trip is intended for Latvian children’s author Sanita Reinsone to gather materials and place-based inspirations for her upcoming book “Friends and Neighbours, and Skis” – a playful and adventurous exploration of kid’s skiing culture in Latvia and Norway, with a special focus on the early 1990s.

Workshops and rehearsals with a contemporary music ensemble Gageego! leading to a performance of a new piece at the festival Gothenburg International Organ Academy 2025.

PAiR Residency in Pāvilosta, Latvia, will host artists from Nordic-Baltic region, offering a space for research, collaboration, and creative development. Residents will receive curatorial mentorship, participate in studio visits, and engage in peer exchanges. The program includes activities such as workshops, talks, and open days, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and site-specific artistic practices while strengthening Nordic-Baltic artistic connections and engaging the local community.

NERDS unites some of the key experimental and innovative music organizers in Nordic and Baltic countries to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and project development while amplifying the Nordic-Baltic new music realm. This vibrant field embodies core democratic values—free expression and critical inquiry—now under global threat. Through our work, we aim to engage and challenge audiences, promote cultural exchange, stimulate "cultural tourism," and a Nordic-Baltic creative space.

The Baltic Circus Union unites and empowers Baltic circus artists through an artist-led network. It advocates for fair wages, legal protections, and sustainable working conditions while ensuring artists shape industry decisions. Through information sharing, meetings, policy development, & community-building, the network fosters artistic, economic, and environmental sustainability. A key goal is creating a unified communication structure for collective representation locally and internationally.

The project aims to establish a visionary network of Baltic-Nordic artists advancing sustainable art practices through symbiosis-based methods and ‘climatic imagination.’ As a result of hybrid meetings and modular workshops, a blueprint for an immersive XR/AR platform will be developed, showcasing innovative ‘naturally-artificial’ artworks. This initiative will lay the groundwork for a long-term network, tracing greener routes for Baltic-Nordic exchange, with a transformative global impact.

I will travel to Tallinn, Estonia from April 1 to April 7, 2025. During the stay in Tallinn, with my group “The Baltic Sisters” members I will rehearse, work on our concert program, hold masterclass, and perform at both the album presentation concert on April 2 and Tallinn Music Week on April 5.

I have been invited to contribute to the Public Program of the Trastad Artist Residency (TAR) with a public lecture and a day long seminar. My intervention will focus on how we engage with more than human in the approaches of inclusive architecture and urbanism practices.
