The first application round of the year for mobility grants under the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture resulted in 516 applications, of which 99 were approved at the meeting of the decision-making expert panel in March.

The chair of the expert group, Orri Huginn Ágústsson, notes that demand for Mobility funding remains high and that the approval rate this time stood at 19 per cent. The total amount granted was €157,090.

“The expert group is impressed by the range and diversity of applications received in this round, spanning numerous art forms, disciplines, and practices, and demonstrating broad reach across different regions of the Nordic and Baltic countries,” says Orri Huginn Ágústsson.

The expert group congratulates all those receiving funding in this round and encourages other applicants to continue developing their projects and to apply again in the future with new and compelling proposals.

The Mobility funding module within the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture is open for new applications three times a year. The final application round of the year opens on 18 August.
