Mobility funding granted for travel in the Nordic-Baltic region

This year’s first application round for Mobility funding within the Nordic-Baltic mobility programme for culture has now ended. In this round, 375 applications were received, which is an expected increase from the previous application rounds. A total of 108 applications were awarded funding for cultural and artistic co-operation in the Nordic Region and the Baltics. The total amount granted was EUR 186,675.    

The next application round is already open, and the deadline is 28 March 2022. You can find the results from this and previous rounds here  

“We’re very happy to see the high quality of and huge diversity in the projects. The projects express a truly ambitious, experimental attitude and an interest in co-operation across the Nordic Region and the Baltics,” said Kristoffer Lindhardt Weiss, chair of the Expert Group for Mobility funding. 

Mobility funding is part of the Nordic-Baltic mobility programme for culture, which aims to strengthen artistic and cultural co-operation between professional artists and cultural professionals in the Nordic Region and the Baltic countries.
