The more you read, the more you know. Teachers from Sydkustens ordkonstskola host the quiz. Two teams will take part: three pupils from Sirkkala School and three pupils from Cygnaeus School, but the audience also has the chance to win great book prizes!
Two literary universes meet – a bilingual discussion

How does one become an artist? What kind of role models are needed – and which ones must be left behind? Taking Pirkko Saisio’s Helsinki Trilogy and Monika Fagerholm’s Döda trakten as its starting point, the discussion centres on growing up, class and desire, rebellion and responsibility.
The best books of the Nordics!

Sara Lundberg (SE) was awarded the Nordic Council Children’s and Young People’s Literature Prize in 2025, and Quynh Tran (FI/SE) has been nominated for this year’s Nordic Council Literature Prize. What is it like to become the representative of an entire country through a nomination for a literary prize? What is typically or atypically Nordic in Lundberg’s Ingen utom jag and Tran’s När andra njuter (When others enjoy, not translated into English), and what do the books say about the relationship between parents and children?
