Dialogue on Trust Across Borders: Sweden–Finland

""

Do you want to explore the concept of trust? On 18 February, you can experience ‘trust dialogues’ by Föreningen Norden – a cross-border conversation format that brings people from different countries together.

Trust is a cornerstone of Nordic culture. The fact that we in the Nordic region trust one another provides the foundation for cooperation and makes our societies resilient in times of crisis. But what does trust mean for ordinary citizens, and can it be practised?

On 18 February, participants will meet simultaneously at Nordic Culture Point in Helsinki and Nordiska museet in Stockholm to explore the meaning of trust through conversation, exercises, and writing. At the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to submit your notes to the museum’s diary collections, helping to document a piece of Nordic history!

Johan Strang, Associate Professor in Nordic Studies at the University of Helsinki, will attend the event.

Please note that places are limited. As the programme is built around dialogue, registration is binding.
