A unique opportunity to see the first Sami youth film together with your class. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session where students will meet and ask questions to director Egil Pedersen. The film is suitable for grades 6–9 and older.

About the movie

Elvira in the far too small village Unjárga wants to be more than Sami. Life feels cramped and it doesn’t get any easier when her mother’s girlfriend moves in and the local influencer tries to make woke points on Elvira’s family situation. And then there’s Elvira’s father, whom she imagines as a charismatic Danish film star – her ticket to Copenhagen and the world. However, everything changes when her actual father unexpectedly enters her life.
