Nordic Culture Point is starting a literature circle in the Northern Sámi language!
We read Nordic literature and discuss the works together; however, participation is also possible without reading the book. The language of the events is Northern Sámi, and you can also participate in Inari Sámi. No preregistration is required.
The literature circle will meet in our library three times during the spring:
10.4.2025 at 17.30-18.30 we discuss Niillas Holmberg’s latest novel Goatnelle (2024, DAT), which is nominated for the 2025 Nordic Literature Prize.
29.4.2025 at 17.30-18.30 we discuss Anne Solfrid Nymo Olli’s work Gávpogis okto dorvvuhaga (2023, Iđut).
20.5.2025 at 17.30–18.30 we discuss Niviaq Korneliussen’s novel Lieđđevággi (2024, Davvi Girji), which received the Nordic Council Literature Prize 2021.
Welcome! Buresboahtin!
